MANILA, Philippines — Power-hitting Kalei Mau will fly to the country from Hawaii late this month to join F2 Logistics in its title bid in the Premier Volleyball League’s first pro season in May at the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba, Laguna.

“Many of you are wondering if I will return to PH (Philippines) to play in the upcoming conference with the F2 Cargo Movers in the PVL. The answer is YES,” said Mau on her Twitter account @Leimau_.

“I’m preparing for my return at the end of this month. Enjoying my last weeks in beautiful Hawaii,” she added.

PVL president Ricky Palou recently said Filipino-foreign players can play as long as they hold Philippine passport. “If she (Mau) has a passport, she can play,” said Palou.

The arrival of Mau should further beef up an already loaded F2 roster headed by Aby Marano, Ara Galang, Kim Fajardo, Majoy Baron, Dawn Macandili and Kianna Dy as they make their PVL debut.

Mau is a winner, having helped the Cargo Movers snare two Philippine Superliga titles in 2019 while being named MVP and Best Scorer.

Also seeing action in the PVL All-Filipino Conference are Creamline, BanKo Perlas, Petro Gazz, Bali Pure, Choco Mucho, Unlimited Athletes Club, PLDT, Cignal, Sta. Lucia Realty, Chery Tiggo and guest team Army.
