MANILA, Philippines — It’s green and go for the Philippine Superliga’s beach volleyball tournament in a bubble concept on Nov. 27-29 in Subic, gaining approval from the Inter-Agency Task Force.

The IATF also eased out restrictions on the operation of off-track horse race betting stations under general community quarantine or lower, and approved the resumption of the operation of licensed cockpits in areas under MGCQ or lower.

In the PSL bubble event, each PSL club is allowed to field more than one team. The event is also open to Premier Volleyball League (PVL) squads.

It will mark PSL’s return, though on the sands for now, after being forced to call off the Grand Prix conference featuring imports last March.

The semi-pro volleyball league is the fourth local sports league to adopt a bubble set-up like NBA after the PBA in Clark, Pampanga, PFL in Carmona, Cavite and the Chooks-to-Go 3x3 Pilipinas in Calamba, Laguna.
