CLARK, Philippines — No sixth man, no problem for Ginebra as the crowd darling is off to a strong 2-0 start.

Still, the Ginebra diehards are making their presence felt. Barred from the venue, Kings fans have taken their act online, packing the maximum 250-virtual fan capacity at the AUF Gym on top of over 120,000 live views on social media streams for the best bubble engagement in the opening week.

“Nakaka-boost ng energy kasi alam namin na kahit nasaan kami, kahit ano mangyari, nandiyan sila,” said Scottie Thompson.

“We know they’re out there,” said Ginebra coach Cone.

Cone is not to be outdone by players in keeping a busy bubble grind.

Aside from daily jog, the winningest PBA mentor also makes swimming a bubble habit, maintaining his routine back home.

“I try to do about an hour of laps, a little over a kilometer every day. I’m enjoying it. I look forward to it every day,” he said.

Cone draws inspiration from her wife, who’s a dedicated marathoner with daily running, swimming and gym workouts: “She pushes me to do about 10 percent of what she does, but it’s a lot.”
