MANILA, Philippines — A well-rested Mighty Sports-Philippines plunges back into action today looking to move on the cusp of a group play sweep against fellow unbeaten Tunisia’s Es Rades in the 31st Dubai International basketball tournament at the Al Shabab Al Ahli Club.

After pocketing two quick wins, the Philippine representative had a two-day break to rev up for the crucial match at 1 a.m. (Manila time) against the Tunisian side (3-0).

Ex-Gilas Pilipinas naturalized player Andray Blatche will spearhead Mighty’s charge once again after turning the hands of time last outing when he powered Mighty to a 77-72 win over Syria’s Al Ittihad.

The 33-year old veteran pumped in 28 points and 11 rebounds as he also got solid support from Renaldo Balkman and local aces like Isaac Go, Dave Ildefonso and Jaime Malonzo.

But the former NBA campaigner will need all the help he can get from other imports Jelan Kendrick and McKenzie Moore if they are to squeak past the formidable Rades squad.
