150 fights featured in Pasay derby today
PASAY, Philippines — Top gamefowl breeders from the provinces collide in the Encuentro Big Event 5 -Stag Derby Part 4 featuring 150 fights at the Pasay City Cockpit today.
The 12 competing teams and some of their members are LGBA South (Patrick Antonio and Arman Santos), Tarlac VY (Rep. Vic Yap), Quezon (Honey Yu and Kaka Nesmith), UAD (Paolo Malvar), Rizal (Raymond Burgos), Manila Cockers (Boyet Plaza and Hector Magpantay), UMCGBA (Ted Macadagdag and Rene Pinuela), Mindoro (Chris Nuestro), LGBA North (Biboy Enriquez and Nick Crisostomo), Cavite Highlander (Sablan Valley GF), Kapampangan (Arnel and Lito) and La Union (Rey Directo and Jenny Asunto).
Separate prizes and trophies will be given to team and individual champions from Sagupaan Agricultural Products Inc.
Team champion wins P400,000; individual champion, P400,000; runner-up, P50,000; any 4 points, P100,000; any 3 points, P200,000; handler, P35,000 and gaffer, P15,000.
Meanwhile, straight seven stags will be accepted in the semifinals of PFGB Digmaan 11-Stag National Derby at Pasay Cockpit.
