Big Event 6-Stag Derby all set Monday
MANILA, Philippines — An impressive cast of cockfight champions converges at the Pasay City Cockpit to compete in the Sandy and Palito Big Event 6-Stag Derby Monday, with at least P1.5 million at stake.
The Sandy and Palito group of Batangas, the derby host, has consistently joined big derbies since last year. These events included the World Slasher Cup, Pasay Big Event, World Pitmasters Cup and the NCA circuit derby among others.
Participants must submit entries (FIGBA Bakbakan and PFGB Digmaan stags only) on Sunday in the event sponsored by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000.
Meanwhile, the PFGB Digmaan 11-Stag National Derby will have two qualifying rounds (3 -stag) at Pasay Cockpit on Nov. 28 and Dec. 2.
Majority of entries will come from the powerhouse Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA), with walk -in entries also to be accepted.
The battle between Metro Manila and Bulacan cockers happens on Nov. 29 via the Frankie and Friends 5-Stag Derby.
