Makati rules Milcu caging

MANILA, Philippines — Vincent Pailanan exploded for 34 points and 28 rebounds as Makati downed Caloocan, 89-82, to claim the 18-under title in the Milcu Got Skills Intercity First Conference at the Playdium Arena in Quezon City.

Joaquin Mercado added 20 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals to power for Makati.

Meanwhile, Resty Gonzales fired 21 points as Malabon beat Cainta, 81-75, for the 17-under championship while Rodelio Tomas producing 23 points, 23 rebounds, three assists and four steals as Caloocan edged Makati, 80-76, to take the 16-under crown.

Sean Dingle had 15 points and 17 rebounds as Valenzuela ruled the 15-under division with a 65-59 win over Laguna 65-59.
