Dragons eye No. 9 vs Pirates

MANILA, Philippines — Diliman College tries to extend its winning run to nine games while Centro Escolar hopes to rebound from another defeat in the PG Flex Linoleum-UCBL today at the Olivarez College Gym in Parañaque City.

Coming off a 66-62 win over the CEU Scorpions, the Blue Dragons are favored in their 4 p.m. encounter with the Lyceum-Batangas Pirates. The Scorpions, on the other hand, collide with the Technological Institute of the Philippines Engineers at 2 p.m. with the former out to improve their 5-3 mark.

With a 2-5 record, Philippine Christian University-Dasmariñas needs to beat winless National College of Business and Arts in their 12 noon encounter to stay in semis hunt.
