MANILA, Philippines — Santo Tomas and University of the Philippines seek to stay within striking distance of pacesetting Ateneo as the Tigers and the Maroons take on separate foes in the 82nd UAAP men’s basketball tournament at the MOA Arena in Pasay City.

UP (2-1) tackles National U (0-3) at 10:30 a.m. then Santo Tomas (3-1) tangles with Adamson (2-2) at 12:30 p.m. in a triple-bill that also pits Far Eastern U (1-2) and La Salle (1-2) at 4 p.m.

Both the Maroons and the Tigers are coming from thrilling overtime victories over the weekend with UP making an epic comeback to frustrate Adamson, 83-82, and UST hanging tough against gritty NU, 84-83.
