LGBA ‘Breeder’ race resumes with three rounds today
MANILA, Philippines — Three more rounds of the 2019 LGBA Breeder of Year race, which has attracted 116 entries so far, are up today at the Pasay City Cockpit.
Organized by the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association with the support of Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000, the LGBA series has a guaranteed prize of P5 million for the first leg alone (7-stag derby).
So far, 17 participants have tallied three wins each to advance to the grand finals on Oct. 11. Those with 3-0 (win -loss) cards from last Friday’s round are Brian Kampton (Blue Diamond Farms), Jervy Maglunob (Triple J Farms), Ricky Magtuto (Ahluck Camsur), Tady Palma/Jonjon Soller (TMP Soller 2) and Ramir Navas (RN Budiao).
Another 3-stag elims will be held Wednesday and the last round on Oct. 3.
The 4-stag final rounds are on Oct. 7 (1, 1.5 and 2 points) and Oct. 11 (2.5 and 3 points).
