59 entries vie in LGBA stagfest

MANILA, Philippines — Fifty-nine entries from the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) will see action in round three of the 2019 LGBA Breeder of Year race tomorrow at the Pasay City Cockpit.

So far, the LGBA series, which began last week with the support of Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000, has attracted 86 entries.

For the first leg, a 7-stag derby with a 3-4 format, a guaranteed prize of P5 million awaits the winners, according to LGBA president Nick Crisostomo.

“This year, all participants have a chance of being included in LGBA’s elite top 10 winners of the Breeder of the Year award,” said Crisostomo.

Among the participants in Friday’s 3-stag elims are Jose Alberto Jr., Rolly Bautista, Juan Baquiran, Mike Bazar, JC Bernardo, Nickson Co, Jodi Dimayuga, James Flores, Alan Imperial, Brian Kampton, Rolly Kua, Dennis Manalang, Percy Modomo, Philip Neri, Rene Santos, Nino Tobiano, Boy Quiza and Doc Nino Mabanta.
