LBC Derby finale spread over 3 days
MANILA, Philippines — Due to the expected big number of fights, three days of battle will be held at Pasay City Cockpit next week for the Luzon Breeders Cup (LBC) 9-Stag Derby final rounds.
Participants with 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 and 4 points from Manila Cockers Club, United Manila Cavite GBA, Palawan Cockers and Mindoro Gamefowl Breeders Association will clash Monday.
Members of the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) with the same scores compete Tuesday while the keenly awaited grand finale (for those with 4.5 and 5 points) is set Friday.
The LBC series, with a guaranteed prize of P10.7 million, is organized by LGBA, Sagupaan Agricultural Products, Inc. and breeders associations/cockpit operators of Luzon.
“At least 100 fights per day are confirmed,“ said LGBA president Nick Crisostomo.
