LPC 5-stag event rescheduled

MANILA, Philippines — The 30th LPC Anniversary 5-Stag Derby of Las Piñas Coliseum has been moved to Sept. 9, 12 and 15 with more than 100 entries listed.

The same 5-stag format will be adopted with a guaranteed prize of P850,000 and entry fee of P11,000 in this three-day stagfest hosted by Mayor Nene Aguilar.

Elimination rounds (2-stag) will be on Sept. 9 and 12 culminating with the 3-stag finale on Sept. 15. The champion gets P500,000, four-pointers P280,000; handler, P50,000; and gaffer, P20,000.

Only locally-banded stags of associations belonging to the International Federation of Gamefowl Breeders (FIGBA -Bakbakan) and Pambansang Federation Ng Gamefowl Breeders, Inc. will be accepted (weight limits of 1.7 kgs. to 2.150 kgs.).
