Team Lakay fighter wins ONE Championship contract in Singapore

MANILA, Philippines — Good news comes to Team Lakay following their 1-4 turnout in ONE: Dawn of Heroes last Friday with fighter Lito Adiwang winning a contract with ONE Championship in the ONE Warrior Series 7 held in Singapore Tuesday.

Team Lakay head coach Mark Sangiao announced the news on Facebook last night.

Adiwang faced Vietnamese Anthony Do in a Straweight bout that went the distance. 

But the judges all scored in favor of the Filipino fighter and gave him the victory via unanimous decision after three rounds of action.

Adiwang now joins a formidable lineup of Team Lakay fighters in ONE Championship.

Eduard Folayang, Kevin Belingon, Joshua Pacio, Danny Kingad, Honorio Banario, Gina Iniong, Geje Eustaquio and Jomary Torres are some of the ONE Championship athletes from the famed Baguio stable.
