Eustaquio loses to Japanese foe via 1st-round TKO

MANILA, Philippines — A win for Team Lakay in ONE: Dawn of Heroes remains elusive as Geje Eustaquio suffered a first round TKO loss against Japan's Yuya Wakamatsu at the Mall of Asia Arena on Friday.

Two minutes into the opening round, Wakamatsu clipped Eustaquio's face with a solid punch that sent the Filipino fighter reeling.

With the loss, the Baguio-based gym goes 0-3 in front of a Filipino crowd tonight.

Honorio Banario and Edward Kelly suffered losses earlier tonight.
