Nuggets' Monte Morris, NBA legend Muggsy Bogues to grace NBA 3X Philippines
MANILA, Philippines — Monte Morris of the Denver Nuggets and NBA Legend Muggsy Bogues will attend the NBA 3X Philippines from August 3-4 here in Manila, the NBA announced on Friday.
Morris, who was selected 51st overall in the 2017 NBA Draft, averaged 10.4 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game with the Denver Nuggest this season.
Meanwhile, Bogues was drafted by the Washington Bullets as the 12th overall pick back in 1987.
As a member of the Charlotte Hornets, Bogues led the franchise in assists and steals.
He played 14 seasons in the league and was named the head coach of the Charlotte Sting in the WNBA in 2005.
Bogues is also the shortest ever player in the NBA, standing at 5'3".
2019 NBA Champion Toronto Raptors mascot "Raptor" will also be gracing the event.
The NBA 3X event will feature 3-on-3 tournaments in various divisions. Interactive fan activities and NBA entertainment will also happen at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall and the PICC Forum tent.

The competition will consist of a division for boys (U-13, U-16, U-18 and open), girls (U-18 and open), an invitiation only celebrity division and an AXA division exclusive to AXA employees and distributors.
Registration fees for age divisions will cost Php1,000 per team while open divisions cost Php1,600.
