World Slasher Cup 9-cock derby semis today

MANILA, Philippines — Fifteen gamefowl breeders, a mix of champions and newcomers, banner the semis of World Slasher Cup 2 Invitational 9-Cock Derby at the Smart Araneta Coliseum today.

Pitgames Media Inc. CEO Manny Berbano said the frontrunners with two wins each try to continue their winning run to reach the grand finals on Sunday.

With two wins each from Monday’s round are WSC champs Rey Briones with Mauro Prieto, Nene Araneta, Frank Berin, Escolin/Eslabon Brothers, Patrick Antonio and Anthony Lim.

Also with two points are Emil Tiu, Mark Calixto, Jerry Robles, Henry Tubban, Louie Tulang, 2019 WPC 220 K Big Event champion Rey Canedo, John Paul Punzalan, Felix Gatchalian and Mayon Cockpit owner Godo Beltran.
