WATCH: Ateneo coach lauds UST for tough stand in UAAP volleyball finals

MANILA, Philippines — The Ateneo Lady Eagles may have come out on top, but it was anything but easy.

Ateneo suffered a major setback after losing Game One of the UAAP women's volleyball finals in straight sets against the UST Golden Tigresses. And while they won the next two games in four and three sets, respectively, it still wasn't a walk in the park.

Lady Eagles coach Oliver Almadro praised UST for putting up a tough fight on Saturday.

The multi-titled mentor said that the Golden Tigresses pushed his team to be better and commended UST stalwart Sisi Rondina and young gun Eya Laure for their gallant showing.
