MANILA, Philippines — Edward Kelly made sure to make the hometown crowd proud after raining hits on his South Korean foe Sung Jong Lee to win via second-round TKO in ONE: Roots of Honor at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City Friday night.

Kelly was aggressive from the get-go, focusing on his striking against his grappling specialist opponent. Despite Lee catching the Lakay fighter in a leglock, Kelly was able to hold on and punch his way to victory.

The younger Kelly split the fight card with his older brother Eric, who absorbed his sixth straight loss earlier this evening.

Edward gave Team Lakay their first victory of the night. His stablemate Joshua Pacio is set to challenge ONE Strawweight World Champion Yosuke Saruta later tonight.
