WATCH: 'Maging Magiting' ambassador Kai Sotto receives sendoff before US journey

MANILA, Philippines -- Apart from representing flag and country in international basketball tournaments, Kai Sotto has also been a pinacle of nationalism through the Maging Magiting project.

Maging Magiting, an initiative of the Ayala Foundation and Chooks To Go, aims to promote nationalism through donating Philippine flags to public schools all over the country.

The 16-year-old serves as the project's ambassador and was given a sendoff by Ayala Foundation President Ruel Maranan and others involved in the Maging Magiting initiative.

Kai is set to leave the country on April 1 for a two-month training in the US.
