UP sweeps wasteful La Salle for fifth win

ANTIPOLO, Philippines – Taking advantage of errors from the La Salle side, the UP Lady Maroons sweep their season series against the DLSU Lady Spikers in straight-set fashion, 25-16, 26-24, 25-19, at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo on Sunday.

Building momentum from their strong start, the UP Lady Maroons dominated the defending champions.

Errors proved to be DLSU's downfall, giving free points to their opponents while killing any offensive momentum they had going on.

UP repeats their first round win against the Lady Spikers and improve to a 5-3 record. La Salle also has a 5-3 win-loss slate.
