Airess Padda to Adamson: 'Maraming salamat'
MANILA, Philippines – Former Adamson head coach Airess Padda has bid farewell to the Lady Falcons.
Taking to Instagram, Padda penned an emotional farewell message to the Adamson volleyball community along with a video montage of her memories with Adamson.
After being relieved of her post as head coach three games into the season, the American native expressed her gratitude after a short but sweet two-year stint with the San Marcelino-based squad.
"Maraming salamat to the entire Adamson community for your undying support! I'm honored to have represented the school, alumni and fans these past two years," Padda wrote.
Talking about her players, the Californian tactician expressed nothing but appreciation and support.
"Thank you for changing my life," the caption read.
"I will forever cherish every single moment I had as your head coach... I wish you nothing but the best and will be cheering you on from afar," Padda added.
The Lady Falcons now play under the guidance of Onyok Getigan.
Padda's two seasons with the Lady Falcons started off with a dismal 1-13 outing but drastically improved the following year. The team finished with a 6-8 record, falling a little short of a Final Four berth.
