MANILA, Philippines — Four-peat seeking La Salle aims its arrows on second foe Adamson even as University of the East and youthful National University each hope to notch their first victory in the UAAP season 81 women’s volleyball at the Filoil Flying V Center today.
The Lady Spikers, who took down archrival Ateneo Lady Eagles, 25-14, 25-17, 16-25, 25-19, in their opening match Sunday, try to make it two in a row against the Lady Falcons, who lost , 21-25, 21-25, 26-24, 26-24, 6-15, to the Santo Tomas Tigresses.
Game time is at 4 p.m. following the 2 p.m. matchup between the Lady Warriors and the Lady Bulldogs.
Des Cheng, May Luna, rookie Jolina dela Cruz and Aduke Ogunsanya led the charge for DLSU as they outgunned Ateneo at the attack zone and the service box and are expected to deliver anew.
The Lady Falcons, meanwhile, will lean on Bernadette Flora, Chiara Permentilla, Eli Soyud and Joy Dacoron as they seek their first victory.
In the other match, UE will try to make up for a 12-25, 25-22, 25-23, 19-25, 12-15 opening day loss to UP.
