Petron Kart Academy on in Carmona

MANILA, Philippines — Aspiring kart racers take their first lessons from some of the finest veterans in the local circuit when the Petron Motorsports Karting Academy fires off on Monday and Tuesday at Carmona Racetrack in Cavite.

The academy offers limited slots for karters in the Cadet class (7 to 12 years old) and Adult class (13 to 17). Registration is free.

Motorsports veteran Edgen Dy Liacco of Edgesport Racing, along with top karters John Dizon and Arvin Drueco, will train the participants.
