Ateneo-Motolite moves to PVL finals vs Creamline

MANILA, Philippines — No. 3 Ateneo-Motolite rose from the brink multiple times in the match, displaying a never-give-up attitude as it gutted out a 21-25, 23-25, 25-17, 27-25, 21-19 victory over second seed BanKo-Perlas to advance to the finals in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan yesterday.

The Lady Eagles clawed from a 0-2 set deficit as they erased match points in the fourth and fifth sets to arrange a titular showdown with No. 1 Creamline, which swept their side of the best-of-three Last Four battle Saturday against fourth-ranked Petro Gazz.
