MANILA, Philippines — Top-seeded Creamline shrugged off a lethargic start as it dumped No. 4 Petro Gazz, 21-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-13, to book a return trip to the finals in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference yesterday.
With five players turning in double figures led by Alyssa Valdez’s 14 points, Creamline recovered from a setback in the opening frame and followed up on their 26-28, 25-15, 25-13, 25-16 Game One victory Wednesday to stay on course for a second straight title.
The Cool Smashers await the winner in the other semifinal match between No. 2 BanKo-Perlas and No. 3 Ateneo-Motolite.

Ateneo-Motolite lost in their first three meetings, including a 23-25, 19-25, 25-21, 25-19, 6-15 setback in Game One Wednesday. Game 3 is set today.
