MANILA, Philippines — The University of the Philippines held a mass for the Fighting Maroons' UAAP semifinals knockout match against Adamson.

The Eucharistic Celebration was held at the Parish of the Holy Sacrifice in UP's Diliman, Quezon City campus.

“Now that the Fighting Maroons are one win away from the finals, join the UP MBT as they ask for strength and guidance before giving it all on the court,” the announcement read.

The Maroons will play the Falcons on Wednesday afternoon at the Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, seeking to return to the UAAP Finals for the first time in 21 years.

The UP community is urged to wear maroon on Wednesday to show support for the MBT.

On the other hand, Adamson on Monday canceled its afternoon classes and work for Wednesday to let its community watch the game live.

Tickets to the anticipated game are already sold-out, according to the official ticket-selling website, Ticketnet Online.

The winner of Wednesday's clash will take on Ateneo in a best-of-three final series.
