“This performance is now sold-out,” the advisory read.

The Soaring Falcons and the Fighting Maroons’ deciding game is slated at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. It will be held at the Araneta Coliseum, Cubao, Quezon City.

Tickets to the game are sold at the following prices:

  • Patron - P400

  • Upperbox A - P250

  • Upperbox B – P200

  • General Admission - P80

Ticketnet said all tickets are for reserved seating except for the general admission section, which is free-seating.

Araneta is estimated to have a seating-capacity of 16,500.

The two teams will battle to secure the finals slot for the 81st UAAP men’s basketball tournament.

The winning team will face the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles in best-of-three finals.

Adamson University earlier announced the cancellation of afternoon classes and work on Wednesday so that its community can watch the game live.

Meanwhile, Maroons head coach Bo Perasol said the big crowd in their last game last Saturday boosted the morale of his team. He is also expecting crowds for both universities to be “great” again on Wednesday.

On Saturday, the Maroons escaped the Falcons, 73-71, to force a decider.

“The games before that, we have big crowds but that one was really huge. It was something that the boys have never seen — most especially the senior guys, but, seeing those people cheering for you, supporting you is something that is new to all of us and I think that that kind of feeling helped us, pushed us up to the end. We did not give up when the stakes were down,” Perasol said in an interview with CNN Philippines.

“I hope and I know that both crowds will be great again on Wednesday,” he added.

UP is seeking its first UAAP finals berth in 21 years. It last clinched a championship in 1986.
