Young Inocentes bags 3 taekwondo golds

MANILA, Philippines — Eight-year-old Gavin Patrick Inocentes, a 2nd poom Kukkiwon Taekwondo black belter, won three gold medals at the eighth Tirak Taekwondo International Championship in Bangkok, Thailand on Oct. 27. 

He joined the advanced division for sparring, poomsae and team poomsae.

Inocentes, competing under Joyland Taekwondo Academy, Philippines under 7th Dan Master Hyo Jun Kim, also joined two international events this year.

These  are the  Jeonju Open International Taekwondo Championships on July 21 in South Korea where he won a gold medal in poomsae, and the WT Kojinkan Cup 2018 Open on April 30 in Yokohama, Japan where he won a gold in sparring and silver for poomsae.
