445 entries in LGBA circuit
MANILA, Philippines — A heavy field of 445 entries slugs it out in the 2018 Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) Stag Derby Circuit Friday at the Pasay City Cockpit, an event that also serves as the culmination of the 2018 LGBA Breeder of the Year race.
The Friday event is a five-stag championship round of the LGBA eight-stag derby.
Also to be determined in the event is the top 10 in the 2018 LGBA Breeder of the Year.
The Breeder of Year wins P1 million; first runner-up pockets P300,000; the second runner-up, P200,000. The rest of the top 10 finishers share P500,000 and third leg champion, P1 million.
Meanwhile the AEJ and Pasia Brothers Five-Stag Derby also unfolds at Pasay Cockpit on Oct. 29.
Brothers Arnold, Edwin and Jerry dela Cruz host the event with the Pasia brothers of Batangas.
