PLMM prevails in Martin Cup

MANILA, Philippines — The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa Marshalls and the San Beda-Rizal Red Cubs posted crucial wins over the weekend to stay in the hunt for quarterfinal seats in 16th Fr. Martin Cup Division 2 basketball tournament.

Christian Aljecera connected with 23 points for the PLMUN Marshalls as they defeated the San Beda Red Lions, 95-89, at the La Consolacion College of Manila gym. .

In the junior contest, AC Cruz delivered 16 points for the Red Cubs in their 111-81 beating of St. Michael College of Laguna.
