Revellers, Scratchers clash in Finals opener

MANILA, Philippines — Che’Lu Bar and Grill and Go for Gold tangle in a duel of top teams in Game One of the PBA D-League Foundation Cup Finals with the former eyeing redemption and the latter seeking a payback at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig today.

The Revellers trounced the CEU Scorpions, 86-73, in their playoff for the last finals seat last Tuesday, sealing their highly anticipated showdown for the crown with the Scratchers, who disposed of the Marinerong-Pilipino TIP Engineers in their side of the Final Four in two games.

Che’Lu Bar swept Go for Gold in the double round elims but the Revellers expect the Scratchers to come out strong at the start of their best-of-five series set at 5 p.m.
