Generals seek joint second in D-League vs Skippers

MANILA, Philippines — Batangas hopes to sustain the momentum of its huge win the last time out as it goes up against a Marinerong Pilipino side out to bounce back in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig today.

Though coming off a stunning 96-90 victory against the Centro Escolar U Scorpions last Monday, the Generals remain wary of the Skippers in their 1 p.m. encounter as they seek to join the idle Che’Lu Bar squad at second.

Clark Derige, who took over in the fourth quarter to power the Generals past the Scorpions, is again expected to carry the cudgels for Batangas along with Cedrick De Joya, Christian Manalo and new recruit Clark Bautista.
