Big-time derby up at PCC

MANILA, Philippines — Big-time cockfighting resumes at the Pasay City Cockpit on Friday with more than 40 entries expected to slug it out for top honors in the Sentenciador four-cock derby.

In the last five events backed by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000, the PCC had staged 146, 94, 77, 113 and 115 fights, respectively.

Omeng Angeles and Rommel Espinola, cockfight referees of the World Slasher Cup and World Pitmasters Cup, will host the event with upcoming cocker Ojie Tejada of Laguna.

Entry fee is P11,000 with deadline for submission of entries is until 9 p.m. tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the PCC will next host the Ace and Marie three-cock derby on June 8, to be followed by the Rey San Luis four-cock derby on June 15, the Rey Soberano and Danny five-cock derby on June 22 and the Jerald’s Cup four-cock derby on June 29.
