James Uy up in NCA World derby
MANILA, Philippines — The National Cockers Alliance World Championship Derby holds its finals today with James Uy leading the elite cast at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City with 4 1/2 points.
Out to foil Uy’s bid are four pointers Charlie Ang, Gov. Plaza and Femie Medina while Ang’s additional entry also stayed in the title hunt with 3 1/2 points.
Rene Medina, Ador Pleyto, Celso Salazar, Rolly Bautista and Gov. Ito Ynares, Gov. Claude Bautista, Anton Lim, Ramon Mancenares, Frank Berin, Fiscal Villanueva, Jun Topacio, Bong Pineda and Tony Marfori all posted three points each with their respective winning lines.
This guarantees a slambang finale between the Ultimate Fighting Cock Championships stars and the NCA stalwarts with their respective aces for the ultimate prize in big-time derby.
