DLSU Spikers seek semis vs UE

MANILA, Philippines — La Salle seeks to meet its initial objective in its three-peat drive as it guns for a Final Four berth in the UAAP Season 80 women’s volleyball tourney today against University of the East at the Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan.

Unbeaten in their last four games, the Lady Spikers look to continue their winning ways and make a hassle-free advance to the semis by hurdling the Lady Warriors (2-8).

Far Eastern (6-4) eyes solo third and a boost to its own semis drive in the curtain-raiser against University of the Philippines (3-7).

DLSU and FEU had faced off last Sunday with the Lady Spikers digging deep to climb back from a 1-2 set deficit to escape with a 25-17, 21-25, 16-25, 25-20, 15-5 win.

“There are still lapses we have to get rid of,” said Majoy Baron. “It’s a positive sign that we can pick ourselves up after falling behind but we know we can do better.”
