MANILA, Philippines — If you've ever wonder how it would look like if Kobe Paras and Jordan Clarkson are playing for the same team, you are not alone.
Paras on Monday tweeted a photo of him with the Los Angeles guard.
He captioned it: "Imagine what (Jordan Clarkson) and I would do if we were given a chance to play together for Gilas Pilipinas."
The 20-year-old Paras has represented the country numerous times.
In 2017 alone, he donned the country's colors in the FIBA 3x3 World Cup in France and the Williams Jones Cup; and was a vital cog in the Southeast Asian Games where he averaged 11.4 points per game.
Clarkson, for his part, had repeatedly expressed his intent to represent the country.
He was supposed to suit up for the Philippines in the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship, but the NBA's current collective bargaining agreement barred him from playing.
He was also included in the 17-man pool for the 2016 Rio Olympics qualifying tournament but was dropped due to time constraints and eligibility issues.
The Filipino-American averaged 14.7 points, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals in the 82 games he played for the Lakers last season.
