MANILA, Philippines – PNP chief Gen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa was literally jumping on his feet at the height of Ginebra’s triumphant endgame run Sunday that he nearly lost his wallet.

He found out that his wallet was gone when they’re on their way out of the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

His wallet was later found on the floor under his seat.

“Maluwag kasi ang bulsa ko,” he whispered to PBA media and external affairs director Willie Marcial.

“Talon ka kasi ng talon, sir,” Marcial whispered back.

A confessed Ginebra fanatic, Dela Rosa was overjoyed Sunday night with the Gin Kings’ escape act and his opportunity to have a picture with Ginebra legends Robert Jaworski and Francis Arnaiz.

And his night was completed with the return of his lost wallet.
