Alyssa Valdez to co-host ‘UAAP Greats’ TV show

MANILA, Philippines — Alyssa Valdez's hosting career is in full swing.
The volleyball phenom will join ABS-CBN host Robi Domingo and former UAAP courtside report Ganniel Krishnan for the "UAAP Greats" TV Special.
This will be Valdez's second hosting stint after serving as one of the co-hosts in last year's Cheerdance competition.
The show will commemorate some of the great athletes produced by the league, including Ian Lariba, Lydia de Vega, Danny Florencio and Robert Jaworski.
It will also feature some of UAAP's greatest winning streaks, individual performances, championship runs and tandems after 79 seasons.
"UAAP Greats" will air on Sports + Action at 12 p.m., before the opening ceremonies of the 80th season.
Cage wars will follow with National University taking on the University of the East and Ateneo locking horns with Adamson.
UST will battle UP and a hyped showdown between FEU and La Salle will cap off opening weekend.
