MANILA, Philippines — Floyd Mayweather is keeping mum on his brewing fight against UFC champion Conor McGregor.
McGregor on Thursday confirmed he signed a contract to set up the blockbuster fight against the boxing legend.
"The first and most important part of this historic contract has now officially been signed off on," he told TheMacLife.com.
UFC president Dana White also said they ironed out the details and are now waiting for the response from Mayweather's camp.
But "Money" refused to respond on the development.
Mayweather was in London to promote his apprentice Gervonta Davis, who will face Liam Walsh.
When asked on his thoughts on the signing, he quickly shrug it off and redirected the attention back to the fighters.
"That's total disrespect to both of these fighters. It's their press conference, let's talk about them," said Mayweather.
McGregor, meanwhile, officially applied for a license to box in Nevada. Last year, he was granted a boxing license in California.
