LOOK: Hidilyn Diaz's P5M check reward
MANILA, Philippines – Olympic silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz’s hefty reward is ready for claiming.
STAR sportswriter Olmin Leyba tweeted a photo of the check issued by the Philippine Sports Commission for Diaz that is worth P5 million.

Diaz was guaranteed the said amount under Republic Act 10699, the amended incentives law, which rewards Filipino athletes that medal in the Olympics.
The 25-year-old weightlifter is set to arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 anytime soon aboard Emirates Flight EK 332.
From there, she will grace a press conference before taking a connecting flight to Davao, where she will reportedly meet President Duterte in a courtesy call.
