KidzHoops’ levelling up

MANILA, Philippines – The KidzHoops Youth Basketball Tournament, established in 2004, is holding its 13th Season first conference levelling on Jan. 17 at the UP Gym, College of Human Kinetics, Diliman, Quezon City. Levelling starts at 2 p.m. after the 1 p.m. registration.

KidzHoops is a basketball league open to all boys and girls age 8 to 14, where participation is highly encouraged. The organization determines the teams (for balance), the bracketing and tracks the team records. Participants could get a chance to earn individual awards and medals. Designated volunteer parents are coaches for the teams.

A proponent of the children’s right to play and participate, KidzHoops makes children feel confident and develops character which in turn may take a sporting potential of the child into a successful performance.
