Kiamco clinches Houston pool title

MANILA, Philippines - Warren Kiamco thumped Danny Lee of the US, 9-6, in the finals to claim the Houston Open crown at the Legends Billiards League City in Texas last weekend.

Kiamco broke out of a 2-2 count by taking the next two racks, only to lose the next three. But the veteran Filipino campaigner struck back and won four of the next five racks to win the match and the crown worth $3,000.

Kiamco’s victory came on the heels of Dennis Orcollo’s title romp in the China Open in Shanghai two weeks ago.
