Jennifer Rosales failed to sustain her charge and fumbled with a one-over par 72 Saturday, dropping out of the top 10 and falling by six strokes behind Grace Park in the third round of the rich Michelob Light Open at the Kingsmill River Course in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Three shots off the lead in the first two days after back-to-back 69s, Rosales limped home with a 72, one-over par at the pat-71 layout, as the ace Filipina shotmaker slipped out of No. 7 position to joint 13th heading into the last 18 holes of the $1.6 million championship of the LPGA Tour.
With a 210 aggregate, Rosales stood six strokes off Park, whose gutsy 69 gave her a 204 and a one-shot lead over Cristie Kerr, firing a 68, as erstwhile joint leader Lorena Ochoa fumbled with a 72 for a 207.
Korean ace Se Ri Pak and fancied Swede Annika Sorenstam both shot 70s and were at 208, four shots off the pace.
