Mapapanood na simula April 8 hanggang 18 ang pelikulang About Us But Not About Us na pinagbibidahan nina Romnick Sarmenta at Elijah Canlas.

“As I was reading it (script), in the few pages, I get affected already. I was told that my character was a professor and he’s gay. He gets caught up in this weird situation. But they didn’t tell me how the story was going to progress. I guess that helped. The setting of the story is conventional. In a conversation, you usually don’t know what the person you’re talking to would say.

“Kung may hugot man ako sa film, it was so easy to empathize what those two people are going through. At the same time, lahat tayo may relasyon. Whether it’s a romantic relationship or relationship with family, we get hurt. Sometimes, hindi nila sinasadya. Or sometimes, hindi natin sinasadya nasasaktan natin sila. For me, it’s easy to put myself in that situation where two people don’t know how to talk to each other and they both ended up hurting,” paglalahad ng aktor.

“Before I was a lot open with my relationship. Then we were about to tie the knot. A week before my wedding date, we canceled. I feel it will be nice to really get married before I share a lot of things. I’ve learned so much from my past mistakes. You don’t need to tell everyone,” nakangiting pahayag ni Nathalie.

“You need to explain to your family, as well. I also have a child to think about. Does she feel good? Does she understand there’s another person coming into my life? If it’s really the two of us, then let it be the two of us. That person will have to be a stepfather to my child. I’m not hiding my love life because I am embarrassed. I’m doing it because my family is part of it,” paliwanag niya.

“It also gave me a lot of responsibilities. Dati okay lang kahit anong oras ako magising basta wala kang trabaho. Now it’s different. You do have to plan your day. It actually made me a healthier person. I’m not saying that I had vice. Now I’m more mentally stable when I had a child. It slowed me down, gave me purpose, gave me responsibilities and made me a better person,” makahulugang pagtatapos ng aktres.
