Charo, Alessandra, Janine, Maja... matindi ang labanan sa 5th Eddys

Siguradong matindi ang magiging labanan sa 5th EDDYS na gaganapin sa Nov. 27, 2022, Metropolitan Theater, ng Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd).

Magtatapatan sa Best Picture ang mga pelikulang Arisaka, Big Night, Dito at Doon, Kun Maupay Man It Panahon at On The Job: The Missing 8.

Bakbakan naman sa Best Director sina Erik Matti (On the Job: The Missing; Mikhail Red (Arisaka); Jun Lana (Big Night); Carlo Francis Manatad (Kun Maupay Man it Panahon) at JP Habac (Dito at Doon).

Best actress nominees sina Janine Gutierrez (Dito at Doon); Kim Molina (Ang Babaeng Walang Pakiramdam); Maja Salvador (Arisaka);  Charo Santos (Kun Maupay Man It Panahon) at Alessandra de Rosi (My Amanda).

Best Director sina John Arcilla (On The Job: The Missing 8); Christian Bables (Big Night); Dingdong Dantes (A Hard Day); Daniel Padilla (Kun Maupay Man It Panahon) at Piolo Pascual (My Amanda).

Mainit din tiyak ang magiging labanan sa Best Actress category dahil may matinding tapatan sina Janice de Belen (Big Night); Lotlot de Leon (On The Job: The Missing 8); Eugene Domingo (Big Night);  Elizabeth Oropesa (Huwag Kang Lalabas) and Rans Rifol (Kun Maupay Man It Panahon).

Sa Best Supporting Actor category, nominated ulit si John Arcilla para sa pelikulang Big Night.

Makakalaban naman niya sina Mon Confiado (Arisaka); Christopher de Leon (The Missing); Ricky Davao (Big Night) and Dennis Trillo (On The Job: The Missing.

May 14 kategorya na paglalabanan, kabilang na ang Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor at Best Supporting Actress.

Ito ang pagbabalik ng Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors sa face-to-face event matapos ang virtual na pagdaraos ng 4th EDDYS nitong nagdaang 2021.

Ang OPM icon at prem­yadong singer-songwriter na si Ice Seguerra ang magdidirek ng ikalimang edisyon ng EDDYS. Siya rin ang nagdirek ng 4th EDDYS last year.

Ang award-winning TV personality na si Boy Abunda naman ang magsisilbing host ng taunang pagbibigay ng parangal ng SPEEd na samahan ng mga entertainment editor ng major broadsheets at tabloids sa bansa.

Katuwang ng SPEEd sa pagdaraos ng 5th edition ng Entertainment Editors’ Choice ang Fire And Ice Media and Productions, Inc., ang kumpanyang itinatag ng mag-asawang Liza Diño at Ice Seguerra.
