And so sometimes, it’s hard to explain ourselves and people are also not willing to listen.

“Sabi ng pinsan ko, in-explain niya sa akin ang psychology ng ‘cancel culture,’ it is propagated mostly by women and gays because ’yung men wala silang masyadong paki to cancel someone out.

“Because women and gays feel like when they cancel someone out, (there’s) more room for them. I don’t know if it’s true. Pero for me, nu’ng in-explain sa akin, it can make sense. Parang ang point niya is men don’t feel like they need a place at the top kasi on top of the ‘food chain’ na raw sila. Pero ’yung women, they feel like they need to pull someone down to get on top.

“That was what was explained to me, the psychology of it. Sabi ko, ‘oh, okey.’ And if you say cancel culture, you’ll see most of the people who take part in it are female and gays.

“And I think that it’s very difficult to judge another person’s disagreement porke’t hindi lang sila… they don’t agree with you. Yeah, I think politically, wow, it’s hard because we’re getting divided as a country so…

“I try not to partake in ‘cancel culture’ kahit na I’m opinionated. Parang I wanna respect lahat ng opinyon ng mga tao kasi they have that right naman. And everybody has their own perspective.

“Actually, I’m so curious kapag ang isang tao is so passionate about something. I wanna know why,” giit niya.

Well, kanya-kanya ang interpretation ng cancel culture.
