Boy Abunda, nag-lecture sa kapuso stars

Ibinahagi ng batikang TV host at Philippine King of Talk na si Boy Abunda ang kanyang kadalubhasaan bilang mentor sa ikatlong batch ng Breakout Room: Master Class Series noong Nob. 16 at 23.

Pero sa Kapuso talents.

Ito ay habang nagsisikap ang talent arm ng GMA 7, GMA Artists Center, na tuparin ang pangako nitong ipakilala ang kanilang mga alaga sa ibang bansa.

Si Tito Boy na mahigit dalawang dekada na sa show business bilang talk show host, ay nagturo ng sining ng public speaking sa mahigit 20 Artist Center talents.

At kabilang sa mga nakiisa sa ginanap na Master Class Series sina Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Ken Chan, Rita Daniela, Barbie Forteza, Martin Javier, Sophia Senoron, Kyline Alcantara, Luane Dy, Glaiza de Castro, Jose Sarasola, Patricia Tumulak, Gil Cuerva, Ruru Madrid, Miguel Tanfelix, Derrick Monasterio, Sanya Lopez, Ysabel Ortega, Sanya Lopez, Bianca Umali, Khalil Ramos, Gabbi Garcia, Ashley Rivera, Rocco Nacino, Arra San Agustin, Lexi Gonzales, and Rain Matienzo.

Present din sa nasabing event with tito Boy sina Consultant for Comedy, Infotainment, Game and Reality Productions Bang Arespacochaga, Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, and GMA Artist Center Consultant Johnny Manahan.

«As in all my classes, I don’t say I’m going to teach you what you want to do,” said Tito Boy at the beginning of the workshop. “Instead, I would like to help you discover yourselves. I’d like to help you discover your power to tell your story. I’d like to journey with you as you explore, as you examine, as you provoke your question, and most importantly, as you commit mistakes along the way. One of the best ways to learn in the talk business is to commit mistakes,” dagdag pa ni tito Boy.

Before the actual workshop, the Philippine King of Talk sent out a declaration that urged the artists not to judge themselves as they practice public speaking. “Learn all the rules because only then can you break them. Sometimes the best way to create something original is by breaking it. And breaking it is sometimes by committing mistakes,” encouraged Abunda.

Ang second round ng public speaking workshop ay diumano’y more interactive kung saan ang artists ay ni-require na sumali sa mock interview presentation.

Ang The Breakout Room: Master Class Series ay isang virtual roundtable discussion kung saan nag-iimbita sila ng top-notch mentors para ibahagi ang kanilang kahusayan.
