International Film ­Conference, idaraos sa Setyembre!

MANILA, Philippines — Inihayag ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) na ang taunang Film Industry Conference nito ay magiging International Film Industry Conference (IFIC) Online na na gaganapin mula Setyembre 16 hanggang 19, na mayroong isang buwang selebrasyon at kaganapang nakapi­la para sa pinakaunang pagdiriwang ng Philippine Film Industry Month.

Ang ika-5 na edisyon ng IFIC ay patuloy na magbibigay ng komprehensibong kaalaman para sa young filmmakers at enthusiasts habang pinagsasama-sama ang local at international experts sa industriya bilang speakers at panelists sa serye ng public sessions at masterclasses.

Lumipat ang IFIC ng online noong nakaraang taon at nagkaroon ito ng mahigit sa 2,000 na attendees sa buong event.

Ngayong taon, magkakaroon ng libreng public sessions at masterclasses na bukas sa publiko, parehas na local at international.

“The success of last year’s Film Industry Conference indicates that even amidst the pandemic and the shift to online platforms, the passion to learn more about the different aspects of cinema is still present. Through its 5th edition, the International Film Industry Conference Online, we want to support aspiring and budding filmmakers from the Philippines and the rest of the world by providing lessons that would help them grow and develop in their filmmaking journey,” wika ni FDCP Chairperson at CEO Liza Diño.

Inilunsad noong 2017, bumubuo ng IFIC ng platform para sa aspiring Filipino filmmakers at film enthusiasts upang mas madagdagan ang pagsisiyasat sa mga oportunidad, hamon, at new norms sa industriya ng pelikula sa panahon ng pandemya.
