Piolo, naglunsad ng sariling record label

Nailunsad na ni Piolo Pascual ang sariling record label na tinawag niyang Just Music.

Para sa aktor ay marami talagang Pinoy ang may talento pagdating sa pagkanta at paglikha ng mga awitin. “With the abundance of talent that we have here in the Philippines, I guess we’ve been seeing a lot of potential in this new artists and that’s where this all came up. When you see a lot of artists who could potentially make a change in the scene, you want to give them that platform, that chance,” bungad ni Piolo.

Layunin umano ng aktor na makatulong sa mga nagnanais makilala at baguhan pa lamang sa music industry. “There are a lot of new artists and so much talent that has to be exposed, but they need a platform to legitimize it. I want to give them a chance to shine on their own, using this label,” giit niya.

Ilan sa mga bagong artists na nasa pamamahala ng natu­rang record label ay sina Kenji at NKO. Napahanga raw agad si Piolo noong unang marinig ang boses at  awitin ng mga ito. “When I first heard them, I knew that they had global appeal. Alam mong hindi sila basta mainstream songs. Discovering new talents that have their own taste in music, in the way they want to express themselves. It’s nice,” pagbabahagi ng aktor.

Dimples, tuluy-tuloy ang grasya

Kamakailan ay nagbukas na sa Singapore ang Alegria restaurant na pag-aari ni Dimples Romana.

Masayang-masaya ang aktres dahil nagkaroon na ng sangay sa ibang bansa ang kanyang negosyo. “I feel very blessed na I’m able to be in a group that actually believes in family, being business-savvy when it comes to money, when it comes to finances. I’m so happy that we get to open Alegria in Singapore. They eased up a little bit, medyo mas maluwag na sila compared to us pero hindi pa rin ako nawawalan ng pag-asa na in the coming months, we will also reach that point,” paglalahad ni Dimples.

Kahit mayroon nang ilang sangay sa Pilipinas ang Alegria restaurant ay talagang espesyal daw sa aktres ang Singapore branch. “These are all up and coming. Some are functioning but of course, the opening, recent lang of Singapore Alegria is quite special for us because this is the first one that’s actually outside the country. What’s nice about it is that Singapore is a perfect place for foodies. Mapa-Pinoy, Singaporean, Australian, whatever man ang cultural background mo, Alegria has something to offer for you,” nakangiting pahayag ng aktres.

Malaki ang pasasalamat ni Dimples dahil patuloy ang pagdating ng grasya kahit na may kinakaharap pa rin tayong pandemya. “I realized that dreams can still come true. Dreams can still come true and prayers can still be answered, little by little. Our partners and I, my husband Boyet (Ahmee), we’re able to pray over it and thankfully  we’re now open,” pagtatapos ng aktres. (Reports from JCC)
